Decorated with blue and white azulejo panels, the restaurant is bathed in natural light, with a panoramic harbour view and a patio where guests can dine by the sea. It truly is a taste of Portugal with a modern twist.

Vic's Restaurante is led by celebrated Executive Chef Martinho Moniz who attributes his success to the small village of Barreira in Portugal. There, he was passed down the precious family recipes of traditional cooking as well as his sense of culinary genius. In order to provide the freshest and purest ingredients, Chef Martinho brings herbs all the way from his home village and grows them in a garden just outside his kitchen. You don’t want to miss his signature dishes such as lobster rice with monkfish when you’re at Vic’s.

Born in Nazaré in Central Portugal, Chef Martinho Moniz grew up on his family’s farm where he was passed down precious family recipes. His natural talent and growing culinary genius showcased itself at the five-starred hotel Pestana Palace in Portugal for five years. He then went on to use his crafts to earn several prestigious recognitions such as “Chef of the Year in Lisbon” and “European Cuisine Young Chef.” In 2009, he ventured to Asia and managed his first Michelin-recommended Portuguese restaurant in Hong Kong. We are so glad to welcome him to our ever-growing team of incredible culinary artists!
